All it takes is a meeting
If Michèle has any advice to give, it is to never lose sight of your goal and always keep an element of optimism. It is through a meeting with the founder of NSE - François Lacoste - and training with the company ERKA (now Safran) that it all begins. Michèle had just finished her studies in accounting. She joined NSE when it was created in 1983.
Gain experience and grow
She is put to the test and it pays off. Michèle successively moved from Wirer to Controller and Store Manager, as NSE’s main activity expanded: cabling activities and the integration of electrical / electronic systems. Since quality has always been essential at NSE, Michèle evolves as a Qualitician and follows SOCOTEC training.
Michèle has been in this position for 7 years. She contributed to obtaining the first certifications of the company: TQE2 (Télécom Qualité Entreprise) and ISO 9002. Subsequently, she decided to take a break from her professional career to devote herself to her family.
She returned in 1997 as Product Manager and held this position until 2010 when she became Business Manager for the NSE BU Integration. This experience gives to Michèle the opportunity to reconcile customer satisfaction and internal services.

Elected in 1995 as municipal councilor, 6 years later she became Social Affairs Assistant. In 2008, she was elected Mayor of the town. She is cumulating her third mandate as Mayor in 2020 with a mandate as Vice-President of the urban community.
« It may be hereditary, my grandfather had served 5 terms as Mayor of Nizerolles from 1935 to 1965.
Carrying out several activities at the same time does not impress me; I have been able to reconcile my elected life and my private life as an independent woman and thanks to the support of my spouse and my children. To be elected is a true priesthood. You have to be dedicated and keep your cool under all circumstances. It is 24 hours a day at the service of the population, public and private institutions. You are not born a Mayor, you become one.
Good times emerge such as the accomplishment and completion of projects contributing to the development of its municipality and its associations.»
Mother of a boy and a girl, Michèle has found the right balance between career, private life and politics. Today she is satisfied with her journey and has never "given up".
